Viral disease, usually mild and occurs in small epidemics. The contamination passes through saliva.
The disease presents as febrile angina accompanied by large and often painful ganglia. A blood test makes it possible to make the diagnosis.
The healing is spontaneous and occurs after about fifteen days, at the cost of a significant fatigue and sometimes persistent.
